What you'll do

• Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status
• recommend care plans to medical staff
• evaluate nutrition support, skin breakdown, and weight concerns
• coordinate nutrition supplies and supplements
• monitor meal service and diet modifications
• educate residents, families, and staff
• evaluate dietary care plans
• meet with interdisciplinary teams
• coordinate mechanically altered diets with the speech-language pathologist
• update diet orders and menus
• supervise and support dietary staff
• conduct quality audits and monitor compliance.
