What you'll do

• Evaluates and administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner.
• Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient’s progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.
• This job classification is required to care for patients of all ages.
• Communicates with patients, families, peers, and other professionals as needed to provide continuity of care.
• Evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments.
• Establishes treatment plans and treats patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them recover.
• Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters.
• Documents and reports on patients' progress.
• May supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers.

What we're looking for

Education

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school

Experience
