What you'll do

• Develop sales in an assigned territory
• prospect and build relationships with contractors, builders, developers, architects, and homeowners
• maintain existing accounts
• promote building materials and related products
• identify project opportunities
• visit jobsites and review plans and specifications
• prepare material takeoffs, quotations, bids, proposals, and sales contracts
• discuss pricing, availability, and delivery
• coordinate with sales, purchasing, dispatch, and operations
• conduct product demonstrations and training
• maintain customer and sales records
• resolve customer concerns
• attend industry events
• prepare sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and activity reports.
