What you'll do

• Greet patients and visitors
• obtain and enter patient histories and dictated examination information in the EHR
• record fee tickets
• escort patients
• assist physicians and technicians
• perform visual acuity, autorefraction, lensometry, tonometry, visual field, glare, color vision, and Schirmer’s tear tests as indicated
• review charts and enter results
• clean and sterilize equipment
• maintain supplies and exam rooms
• check medication and supply expiration dates
• protect patient confidentiality. Regular travel to satellite locations may be required.
