Receiving Operator

The Receiving Operator role is onsite in South Pittsburg, TN, with compensation of $20–$23 per hour. The position reports to the Receiving Lead at Colonial Chemical. This role supports plant receiving operations by safely moving incoming materials, checking deliveries for quality and count, and maintaining accurate shipping and inventory records. The operator also helps keep receiving work safe and organized.

What you'll do

• Safely load and unload tanker trucks and inbound raw-material trucks
• train to operate a yard dog to move tankers and box trailers
• use a forklift to unload and transport materials
• verify the quality and count of received items
• maintain shipping records, including returns and returnable pallets
• report discrepancies or over-shipments
• follow safety training and inventory procedures
• maintain housekeeping.
