What you'll do

• Perform pharmacist procedures and provide pharmaceutical services within facility capabilities
• counsel patients on medication use
• review patient profiles and prescriptions for appropriate directions, dosage, interactions, duplications, allergies, and age-specific dosing
• intervene with providers when discrepancies are identified
• compound medications as required
• verify products prepared or processed by technical staff
• oversee pharmaceutical inventory and controlled-substance security and records.

Why this role

Schedules include inpatient 7-days-on/7-days-off shifts from 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., and outpatient Monday–Friday shifts from 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Additional 24/7 shifts rotate between 8, 10, 11, or 12 hours and do not exceed 80 hours per two-week pay period.
