What you'll do

• Assist with check-in, scheduling, phone coverage, and e-fax monitoring
• room patients and prepare them for visits and procedures
• verify patient histories, allergies, medications, and reason for visit
• obtain and document vital signs and ECGs
• maintain electronic medical records
• prepare and clean rooms, instruments, and supplies
• request and coordinate diagnostic records, referrals, and authorizations
• arrange admissions and pre-admission services as needed
• protect patient confidentiality and follow safety and compliance requirements.
