What you'll do

• Inspect fiberglass molds for cracks, surface defects, wear, and damage
• repair molds using resins, fiberglass mat, and tooling gel
• grind and sand repairs to specifications
• apply mold release agents as needed
• perform preventive maintenance, prepare molds for gelcoat, and replace gaskets and seals
• clean molds and remove residue
• safely use hand, power, and pneumatic tools
• document maintenance and repairs
• maintain repair-material inventory
• keep work areas organized and compliant with safety standards
• wear a respirator and follow safety procedures.
