Construction Estimator — Civil and Fabrication

What you'll do

• Prepare labor and material estimates from drawings and project documents
• coordinate estimates with clients, staff, suppliers, and subcontractors
• conduct site and bid walkthroughs
• maintain client and vendor relationships
• evaluate construction versus subcontracting costs
• collaborate with shops on fabrication methods
• develop bid alternatives and value-engineering solutions
• prepare schedules of value and procurement projections
• conduct scope reviews and project briefs
• analyze historical bids and actual costs
• prepare project turnover packages and provide ongoing support
• follow company and OSHA safety requirements.
