What you'll do

• Participate in controlled-substance counting and logging
• maintain current knowledge of medical policies and protocols
• maintain medical records and a clean, efficient facility
• provide recovery-room nursing care
• assist providers with emergencies and screen patients with medical problems
• monitor medications, crash carts, inventory, and equipment
• under direct supervision, conduct pre-anesthetic assessments, prepare and label medications, place or supervise IV catheters, monitor patients and administer sedation-related medications, and provide post-anesthesia care
• travel to specified health centers as staffing needs require.
