The Packer role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. The posting lists first shift, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; second shift, 2:00–10:30 p.m.; and third shift, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m., each Monday–Friday. SATO America makes products and services intended to create customer value and contribute to a more sustainable world. The packer manually packages and finishes products, checks labels and product quality, and supports press operators. The work helps ensure products are correctly prepared, labeled, inspected, and ready for delivery.

What you'll do

• Read work orders
• set up shrink wrap and change plastic as needed
• assemble cartons and sort products
• wrap products when required
• pack to quantity specifications
• set up labeling tools and label products or containers
• work in reroll or finishing areas as required
• monitor label quality
• inspect materials and packaging
• assist press operators with cleanup and prepress
• maintain a clean work area and follow safety programs.
