The Principal Contract Specialist / Program Manager role is onsite at a U.S. Navy shipyard in Kittery, ME. Compensation is $140,000 annually. This is a contingent opportunity dependent on contract award, government approval, and satisfaction of applicable requirements. The role leads the onsite acquisition-support team, serves as the primary interface with the government Contracting Officer and COR, and is accountable for team performance, quality, and staffing. It provides senior acquisition expertise and manages delivery, knowledge transfer, and transition planning in support of the potential Navy contract.

What you'll do

• Manage the embedded team
• ensure performance against the PWS and QASP
• oversee quality control, peer review, and knowledge transfer
• manage staffing, schedules, timekeeping, and deliverables
• provide senior acquisition expertise on complex actions
• lead transition-out planning
• serve as the primary government interface and potentially as contract manager.

Why this role

Contingent on contract award, government approval, and meeting position requirements; Monday–Friday, eight hours per day, with operating hours of 6 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time; telework only when approved by the government.
