• Coordinate resident care plans in accordance with physician orders, regulations, and facility policies
• develop nursing objectives, standards, procedures, and job descriptions
• participate in hiring, orientation, training, and staff development
• manage nursing coverage and supervise nursing personnel
• coordinate with physicians, families, and other resident-care services
• participate in quality assurance and address deficiencies
• promote resident rights and a safe environment.
