The Family Medicine Physician role is onsite in Rock Hill, SC; compensation is not specified. North Central Family Medical Center is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center providing affordable, accessible healthcare and pharmacy services to patients of all ages. The physician provides primary care to an assigned patient panel, using evidence-based medicine to evaluate and treat patients, develop and monitor care plans, and communicate diagnoses and follow-up needs. The role also supports clinic quality initiatives and supervises clinical activities provided by nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, examine, and treat patients within scope of practice
• obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
• order appropriate laboratory and imaging studies
• formulate and monitor patient management plans
• adjust medications and therapeutic regimens
• consult with the care team and refer patients to specialists when appropriate
• provide emergency care
• document in the electronic medical record
• provide emergency call coverage
• maintain hospital privileges
• and supervise clinical activities, including chart reviews and precepting when necessary.
