What you'll do

• Assists physician as a monitor tech during invasive cardiovascular procedures, interpreting EKG's and operating physiologic recorder.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician's direction.
• Prepares lab for procedure, maintains sterile technique, and prepares patient.
• Post-procedure, removes sheath, maintains hemostasis, and monitors patient status.
• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Orders supplies and demonstrates inventory control.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems.

What we're looking for

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree

Experience

Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience. RCIS certified within eighteen (18) months of date of hire. ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.
