The Lead Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician role is onsite in Bensenville, IL, with pay of $47–$50 per hour based on experience. Flightcheck provides commercial aviation line maintenance and related services for domestic and international airlines. The role leads a team while performing advanced aircraft sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations. It supports safe, compliant aircraft maintenance through technical work, quality inspection, documentation, and as-needed AOG support at various stations.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor the sheet metal team, assign tasks, and ensure quality
• perform complex sheet metal fabrication and repairs using technical drawings
• maintain FAA, OEM, and safety compliance
• inspect completed work and document maintenance actions
• perform line maintenance duties beyond sheet metal
• travel for AOG support as needed.
