The Early Head Start Assistant Teacher works onsite in Bakersfield, CA. Pay is $18.83 per hour. The role supports the Community Action Partnership of Kern’s early childhood program for children ages 0–3. The position works with the Teacher to provide a safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate, educational, and supervised environment. It promotes children’s development, encourages parent involvement, and supports assessment and transitions to kindergarten while maintaining program compliance.
