CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Cambridge, OH. Compensation is $30 per hour (W2). System One is seeking machinists to produce precision components using CNC machining equipment. The role sets up and operates mills, lathes, and other equipment, then inspects work to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality. It supports production schedules by maintaining equipment, documenting results, and working with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve machining issues.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
• interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and specifications
• select tooling and machining parameters
• load materials and set work and tool offsets
• monitor operations and adjust for accuracy
• inspect parts with precision measuring instruments
• troubleshoot equipment and tool issues
• perform routine maintenance
• follow quality and safety procedures
• maintain production and inspection records
• collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
