The Therapist role is onsite in Grass Valley, CA, with a stated schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation is $34.00–$36.08 per hour. The position provides direct services within a Turning Point Community Programs program. The therapist provides individual and group therapy and helps clients gather information for assessments and treatment plans. Through counseling, service planning, advocacy, and coordination with clients and their support networks, the role supports clients’ therapeutic processes and goals.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group therapy or counseling under clinical or program director supervision
• provide psychoeducation
• carry a small caseload and consult on clinical issues
• meet with clients’ families or care providers with client consent
• develop individual service plans and support measurable objectives
• help clients and families access mental health treatment, medical care, housing, food, and clothing
• complete reviews and reports
• support clinical program development
• attend to client safety and well-being
• complete documentation to agency billing standards
• address communication difficulties
• drive on agency business and periodically visit clients at home
• attend staff meetings.
