What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas
• assist with examinations and procedures
• apply aseptic technique and infection control
• follow quality assurance practices
• screen and follow up on test results
• collect and process specimens
• obtain medical histories and vital signs
• prepare and administer medications other than controlled drugs
• maintain medication records
• respond to emergencies
• process prescription requests and prior authorizations
• maintain supplies and equipment logs
• support clinic operations and teammates
• protect confidentiality and follow applicable OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA requirements.
