What you'll do

• Meet with families to plan funeral, cremation, and memorial services
• coordinate ceremonies and logistics
• explain service and merchandise costs
• collect payments and maintain financial records
• process required documentation
• manage pre-need and at-need arrangements
• maintain respectful identification and care of the deceased
• perform embalming-related duties only if licensed
• oversee funeral home operations
• provide follow-up care
• supervise and train staff as applicable.
