Chief Ride Mechanic

The Chief Ride Mechanic role is onsite in New Orleans, LA. Pay is $30–$32 per hour. The position oversees ride and attraction maintenance and safe operation at City Park, whose employees are also expected to support environmental sustainability goals.

What you'll do

• Oversee routine ride and attraction inspections
• maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot rides and park equipment
• plan and perform preventive maintenance
• keep maintenance logs and reports
• interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• supervise, schedule, train, and coach ride mechanics
• and support safety practices. The posting requires a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Why this role

Requires at least four years of mechanical or electrical experience and electrical controls experience. NAARSO/AIMS Level 1 Mechanical certification must be obtained at the first available testing; training is provided.
