The Residential HVAC Installer role is onsite in Hayes, VA, serving Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, and the Middle Peninsula. Pay is $30–$40 per hour, based on experience, plus commission opportunities. Comfortable Climate Heating, Air & Plumbing serves homeowners with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. The installer completes residential equipment installations and replacements, connects ductwork and related components, and tests systems for proper installation and startup. The role supports quality workmanship, safe and organized jobsites, and clear communication with homeowners.

What you'll do

• Install furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, and controls
• complete equipment replacements and related installation work
• install, modify, and connect ductwork and sheet metal
• install copper line sets and perform brazing and soldering
• complete electrical and low-voltage connections as required
• follow manufacturer requirements and building codes
• test equipment and verify systems
• maintain safe, clean jobsites
• protect customers’ homes
• communicate with homeowners
• complete installation documentation
• maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and materials.

Why this role

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Requires 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience and EPA Certification. NATE or OSHA training is a plus, not required.
