The Lead Teacher — Preschool role is onsite in Lincoln, Nebraska. Pay is $49,920 per year. The teacher plans, implements, and coordinates a comprehensive preschool education program that supports children’s individual needs and school readiness. The role uses observation and assessment to guide learning, maintains a supportive classroom, and works with families and multidisciplinary teams.

What you'll do

• Observe, assess, and document children’s development using Teaching Strategies Gold
• develop individualized educational plans
• coordinate referrals and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• support transitions to preschool and kindergarten
• maintain a stimulating learning environment and appropriate supervision
• use Positive Behavior Supports and Creative Curriculum
• interpret assessment results to plan classroom experiences and share information with families
• conduct at least two home visits per family each year
• communicate with parents
• lead the classroom team
• maintain attendance, food counts, and required paperwork.
