People Operations and Benefits Specialist

The specialist serves as a first point of contact for HR inquiries and administers benefits, employee records, and HR workflows. Accurate systems and timely coordination with employees, vendors, Finance, and Staffing Operations help support employee experience, compliance, and reliable HR processes.

What you'll do

• Respond to HR inquiries and manage the HR inbox
• administer health and welfare benefits, enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA
• reconcile data between HRIS and benefit vendor systems
• maintain benefits configuration and employee records in Paylocity
• coordinate open enrollment
• process employee lifecycle transactions
• audit HR and benefits data and support reporting
• manage onboarding, offboarding, accommodations, and leave processes
• partner with Finance, Staffing Operations, and vendors
• identify recurring issues and process gaps
• support ACA compliance tracking and audits.
