Senior Information Security Analyst

The Senior Information Security Analyst role is onsite in San Antonio, TX. Compensation is not specified. The analyst maintains the security posture of assigned systems throughout their lifecycle, helping protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability while sustaining system authorization. The work combines risk and compliance documentation, vulnerability remediation, security monitoring, incident response, and guidance to system stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Lead Risk Management Framework and Authority to Operate documentation
• maintain System Security Plans, Contingency Plans, and Incident Response Plans
• review security controls and prepare for assessments
• scan systems with approved tools such as ACAS/Nessus, prioritize findings, coordinate remediation, and track POA&Ms
• monitor SIEM and other security alerts
• support incident response and access audits
• develop and enforce security guidance based on DoD, DAF, and NIST standards
• advise system owners, developers, and administrators
• provide security awareness training. Requires seven years of progressive information security experience, three years managing RMF/ATO for DoD systems, current CompTIA Security+ CE or higher, and eligibility to obtain and hold a DoW security clearance.
