Job overview
The Extrusion Assistant is an onsite role based in Neenah, WI. This position supports the operations and production team at ProAmpac. This role exists to assist in the extrusion process by monitoring production, testing materials, and ensuring quality standards are maintained. The assistant supports the operator and ensures the machine is set up and cleaned correctly.
What you'll do
- Make corrections for non-conforming material.
- Ensure raw materials are approved.
- Perform substrate basis weight and appearance testing.
- Document raw material usage and defects.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of returns.
- Set up resin blenders.
- Monitor and control process when operator is absent.
