Freestanding Emergency Department Director

What you'll do

• Direct daily operations and strategic growth of Emergency Services
• address operational challenges and align departmental goals with organizational objectives

• participate in hospital committees
• lead patient-satisfaction and quality initiatives
• develop and evaluate emergency services programs
• ensure clinical, regulatory, and accreditation compliance
• coach and manage staff and department leaders
• monitor patient and employee safety, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree and BSN, current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certification. Requires at least three years of Emergency Services experience and three years of progressive leadership experience; a relevant master’s degree is preferred.
