What you'll do

• Process and apply patient and third-party payments
• scan documents and resolve payment discrepancies
• handle credit card payments, credits, and account adjustments
• manage payer aging and submit electronic or paper claims
• verify demographics and insurance eligibility
• monitor payment agreements and coordinate collections
• provide financial counseling and review financial forms
• contact clients to schedule payments
• appeal denied claims and communicate with payers.
