Transfer Operator

Job overview

The Transfer Operator role is onsite in Baytown, TX, with pay of $16 per hour. The position is in Production and supports daily production operations by safely transferring materials from railcars into silos. The operator uses transfer equipment and rail-yard safety devices to move materials reliably and safely. The role also includes equipment and area upkeep, general labor, and assigned maintenance while following company procedures, quality standards, and applicable OSHA requirements.

What you'll do

• Transfer materials from railcars to silos
• operate transfer equipment according to procedures, manuals, and supervisor instructions
• connect and disconnect cargo hoses
• use blue-flag signs and wheel chocks
• maintain a clean work area and equipment
• perform general labor, cleaning, and assigned maintenance
• follow safety and quality requirements and wear required PPE.
