Field Service Technician

Job overview

The Field Service Technician role is based in Chester, WV, with work at various field locations and shop support at a new facility as needed. Compensation is not specified. One X’s field work includes equipment service at frac locations. The technician installs, maintains, inspects, and repairs equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues and documenting service and parts used. The role supports safe, reliable equipment operation at field sites while assisting with shop operations and building client relationships.

What you'll do

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at frac locations
• operate forklifts and telehandlers safely under OSHA regulations
• troubleshoot mechanical issues
• inspect equipment
• collaborate with team members
• record service performed and parts used
• provide customer service
• travel 100% of the time
• work extended hours as needed.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Technical training is preferred; oil and gas experience and frac-site experience are preferred or a plus. Listed training includes PEC/SafeLand, Smith Driving Instruction, forklift, aerial lift, and fall protection.
