Project Architect

The architect leads technical and design execution from concept through construction, producing coordinated, code-compliant documentation and supporting project delivery. The role aligns design intent with engineering and client needs, helps manage schedule, budget, and quality, and mentors emerging professionals.

What you'll do

• Lead architectural drawings and specifications across schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration
• document design intent and coordinate with engineering disciplines
• manage design deliverables and contribute to scheduling
• support project profitability, risk identification, and solutions
• ensure compliance with IBC, NFPA, FGI, and ADA/ABA standards
• coordinate permitting and respond to regulatory comments
• collaborate with QA/QC leadership
• resolve technical design and construction challenges
• research codes and develop life-safety plans
• participate in client meetings
• mentor emerging professionals and interns
• travel approximately 10%–15% for project needs.
