Seasonal Retail Cashier

The Seasonal Retail Cashier role is onsite in Redwood City, CA, for the holiday season from November 9, 2026 through January 10, 2027. Pay is $20.50–$22.50 per hour. The cashier supports the customer experience at K&L Wine Merchants. The role welcomes customers, processes transactions accurately, helps shoppers locate products, and supports checkout and sales-floor readiness. It contributes to smooth retail operations while following identification checks and applicable alcohol sales policies.

What you'll do

• Welcome customers and provide attentive service
• process purchases using the point-of-sale system
• handle cash, cards, and gift cards
• help customers locate products and connect them with specialists
• verify identification and follow alcohol sales laws and company policies
• maintain checkout area
• assist with stocking, merchandising, and sales-floor recovery.
