What you'll do

• Collect and sort soiled linens and personal clothing
• identify items needing specialized stain treatment or delicate handling
• operate commercial washers and dryers according to sanitation and thermal-disinfection protocols
• measure and dispense laundry products
• fold, hang, organize, and return clothing to resident storage
• label memory-care residents’ clothing
• change and launder soiled or wet items promptly
• restock clean linens
• clean laundry equipment and work areas
• report equipment malfunctions
• follow universal precautions, HIPAA, health regulations, and PPE requirements.
