What you'll do

• Works closely with all emergency services staff.
• Establishes positive relationships with patients/families and visitors.
• Performs aseptic surgical techniques while functioning as a surgical assistant for trauma alerts/procedures.
• Responsible for the proper collection of most specimens used in laboratory analysis within the scope of their knowledge and experience (Phlebotomy, POC testing).
• Performs point of care testing, and follows appropriate quality control procedures.
• Assists with the admission, transfer and discharge of patients as appropriate including the transporting of patients throughout the facility.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma; Graduate of a Program in Surgical Technology.

One year of experience preferred
