Dialysis Patient Transporter

The Dialysis Patient Transporter role is onsite in Pikesville, MD, and pays $13.17–$19.75 per hour. The role supports safe patient movement to and from the dialysis center and assists with basic care and unit readiness. It contributes to patient comfort and safe, orderly dialysis operations through communication with nursing staff and completion of related support tasks.

What you'll do

• Transport patients and clients safely and professionally
• assist with safe transfers
• communicate with the Charge Nurse about progress and instructions
• disinfect dialysis recliners between clients and return them to the suite
• comfort patients and families
• stock supplies and assist with inventory
• assist with lab labeling
• complete MOLST communication book forms
• follow safety and workplace procedures.
