Job overview

The Equipment Operator with Commercial Driver’s License role is onsite in Lake City, SC. Pay is $25 per hour. The operator works on electrical-line vegetation management, removing branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role operates and helps maintain equipment, supports crew activities, and follows safety practices to protect workers and the public. Operators may perform storm work and may need to travel out of town for storm restoration when needed.

What you'll do

• Operate heavy equipment as directed by the Foreperson to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines
• help prepare equipment and materials
• maintain and repair equipment and tools
• assist crew members
• clean up and dispose of debris
• set up barriers and warning signs
• track and report mileage
• perform storm work as needed.
