Health Screener – Plasma Center

Job overview

The Health Screener – Plasma Center role is onsite in Belton, MO. Compensation is $24.30–$33.44 per hour. BioLife Plasma Services collects plasma used to make medicines, including life-changing medicines, and the role supports plasma center operations. The Medical Support Specialist determines donor eligibility, manages donor adverse events, reviews laboratory results, and notifies donors of unsuitable results. The role also supports medical emergency procedures, employee health and safety activities, and applicable vaccination programs under center leadership and medical guidance.

What you'll do

• Determine donor eligibility through consent, medical history, examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis
• evaluate donor reactions and follow emergency procedures
• refer medical or technical issues to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs
• support applicable employee vaccination programs
• manage employee incidents and follow environmental, health, and safety guidance.

Why this role
