The Field Service Manager — Packaging Equipment role is onsite in Saint Charles, IL. Compensation is not specified. The manager leads the field service organization for a growing manufacturer of sophisticated packaging equipment. The role exists to develop technicians, resolve complex equipment issues, improve service operations, and strengthen customer relationships. It coordinates field resources and service performance while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Product Development, and other technical teams to improve equipment reliability and customer experience.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and train field service technicians and technical support personnel
• manage technical escalations and customer issues through resolution
• provide hands-on assistance with installations, start-ups, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and customer visits when needed
• direct daily field service activities and technician deployment
• coordinate schedules and resources
• monitor service KPIs and response times
• improve service processes and documentation
• collaborate with internal teams.
