What you'll do

• Achieving Maintenance goals with the highest regard for employee safety
• Supporting troubleshooting & observations of machine centers with shift supervisors and other maintenance staff
• Managing the department cost
• Maintenance Planning, planning non-emergency maintenance, coordinating PM routes
• Effectively communicating goals and/or instructions
• Managing conflicts
• Supervising Maintenance and Cleanup personnel on varying schedules
• Managing contractor safety
• Maintenance of sawmill equipment
• Safety of the crew
• Arranging WF Training for and mentoring apprentices
• Creating and planning improvement projects
• Managing parts with the purchaser
• Scheduling and attendance
• Inspecting completed work.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience

Prior Journeyman Electrician or Millwright, Proficient in Microsoft Office, Well organized, Minimum of five years (plus) of industrial experience, Leadership and communication skills
