Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Conroe, TX. Pay is $35–$45 per hour. The position works in a post-acute care setting and supports patients through nursing care, rehabilitation, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team. The nurse implements individualized care plans, administers medications and IV therapy within RN scope, monitors patient status, and documents care in the electronic medical record. The role also communicates changes and care needs to patients, families, clinicians, and team members, and contributes to patient education and safe care.

What you'll do

• Provide preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care
• lead team conferences to develop individualized care plans
• assist with emergency measures
• evaluate care effectiveness
• document observations and interventions in the EMR
• administer medications and perform IV therapy within RN scope
• coordinate communication among patients, significant others, team members, and physicians
• provide shift reports
• educate patients and families
• participate in staff development and in-service training
• follow infection-control and HIPAA policies.
