The counselor supports safety and stability for clients who are intoxicated or experiencing withdrawal at the Crisis & Recovery Center. The role monitors client status, responds to emergencies, facilitates psychoeducation groups, documents care, and supports recovery-oriented, trauma-informed services.

What you'll do

• Assess and document intoxication, withdrawal symptoms, vital signs, physical condition, mental status, and behavior
• monitor the milieu and client safety
• respond to emergencies and follow incident-reporting procedures
• facilitate psychoeducation groups
• engage clients, provide referrals, document care, and follow trauma-informed and addiction-treatment practices.
