What you'll do

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items from scratch
• maintain product taste, texture, presentation, and ingredient freshness
• collaborate with management on recipes and seasonal offerings
• monitor supplies and inventory and assist with ingredient ordering
• follow food-safety and sanitation guidelines
• offer samples and answer customer questions
• coordinate with kitchen staff and management.
