Financial Counselor — Remote, U.S. (Evening Shift)

The Financial Counselor role is fully remote for U.S.-based candidates, with evening hours in Eastern Time and a biweekly Saturday rotation; pay is $20.35–$22.00 per hour. GreenPath Financial Wellness is a national nonprofit whose mission is to empower people to lead financially healthy lives. The counselor provides phone-based financial guidance and education to help clients understand financial challenges and develop individualized action plans. The work supports GreenPath’s nationwide counseling services through client communication, financial information review, and confidential recordkeeping.

What you'll do

• Provide phone-based financial counseling
• respond to inbound calls and client emails and make outbound service-related calls
• review client financial information and credit reports
• develop individualized action plans and educational resources
• discuss program options and applicable fees when appropriate
• provide housing-related counseling
• maintain accurate confidential records
• complete training and maintain applicable certifications
• collaborate with colleagues.

Why this role
