Morrison-Maierle’s Buildings Market Group delivers engineering design services for building projects. The engineer develops electrical building-system designs that meet project power needs and applicable safety standards and building codes. The role supports project delivery through client collaboration, design documentation, coordination with other engineering disciplines, and contributions to business development.

What you'll do

• Consult with clients to understand project goals
• interpret architectural plans and research suitable power systems
• use design software to develop circuitry, equipment power, lighting, and fire alarm plans
• write project specifications
• ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and building codes
• coordinate with other engineering disciplines
• resolve design challenges
• partner with the Operations Manager on business opportunities.
