What you'll do

• Counsel patients according to physician orders and diet instructions
• communicate with physicians and care disciplines
• evaluate nutrition referral orders
• document in medical records
• implement nutrition care plans, adapt menus, assist with special dietary needs, conduct calorie counts, and review menus for nutritional adequacy.
