Weekend In-Home Caregiver

Job overview

The Weekend In-Home Caregiver role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, and pays $19–$22 per hour for the stated base rate on shifts of three hours or longer; shorter shifts have separate rates described in the posting. BrightStar Care provides in-home support to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The caregiver provides personal care and companionship while assisting with meals, light housekeeping, errands, mobility, and medication reminders. The role also monitors and reports changes in clients’ health and needs and communicates with the RN Case Manager about care plans.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and conversation
• assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and ambulation
• accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed
• monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs
• communicate with the RN Case Manager to update care plans.
