Electrical Engineering Technician / Quality Assurance

What you'll do

• Review electrical drawings and specifications for constructability and coordination
• evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, product data, calculations, and equipment packages
• review requests for information and provide technical recommendations
• assess equipment substitutions
• review testing and commissioning procedures
• participate in design coordination meetings
• support installation planning and startup
• monitor contractor compliance
• inspect electrical installations
• verify conduit, cable trays, switchgear, transformers, motors, controls, and instrumentation
• review testing documentation
• track deficiencies and support closeout inspections.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and at least five years supporting relevant construction projects. EIT, OSHA 30, and USACE CQM certifications are listed as nice to have.
