Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator

The position supports Nursing Administration at Gateway Regional Medical Center, developing nursing staff and strengthening clinical practice and quality outcomes. The role exists to build staff capability through education, coaching, onboarding, competency support, and performance-improvement work. It also provides operational support to nursing leadership and may act on behalf of nursing leadership during manager absences and administrative coverage needs.

What you'll do

• Facilitate nursing staff onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education
• develop and deliver educational programs and clinical training
• assess learning needs and support competency validation
• participate in curriculum development and evidence-based education initiatives
• coach and serve as a clinical resource across nursing departments
• support nursing leadership with operational oversight, staffing coordination, and workflow management
• serve as acting manager when the unit manager is absent
• participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives
• act as Nurse Administrator On-Call as assigned.
