CNC Machinist — Third Shift

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Mocksville, NC, working Monday through Friday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Pay is $24–$30 per hour. Ingersoll Rand produces industrial and life-science technologies, including compressors and precision fluid-handling products. The machinist sets up and operates CNC and related machines to produce parts that meet drawings and specifications. The role supports product assembly and quality by monitoring machining, measuring finished parts, correcting issues, and maintaining safe, organized production work.

What you'll do

• Use blueprints, drawings, and job instructions to produce parts to dimensions and tolerances
• set up and operate mills, lathes, grinders, machining centers, and drill presses
• enter or edit CNC control information
• monitor machine operation and adjust controls
• measure finished parts against specifications and rework nonconforming parts
• resolve machining problems with supervisors, engineers, and production personnel
• follow ISO procedures and safety rules
• route completed parts
• update production and quality records
• maintain 5S standards and participate in process improvement.
